Athanify ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Information We Collect
Location Data
- We access your device's location to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction.
- Location data is processed on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
- Manually saved locations are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
Prayer and Usage Data
- Prayer completion records, streaks, and checklist data are stored locally on your device.
- Notification preferences and app settings are stored locally on your device.
- We do not collect, transmit, or store your prayer data on any external server.
Subscription Data
- In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and managed via RevenueCat.
- We do not have access to your payment information such as credit card numbers.
- RevenueCat may collect an anonymous app user ID to manage your subscription status. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Content Data
- The app fetches daily Islamic content (hadiths, wallpapers, audio stories) from our servers.
- These requests do not include personal identifiers.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not require account creation or collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
- We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.
- We do not use advertising frameworks or serve ads.
Notifications
If you grant notification permission, the app schedules local notifications for prayer times and reminders. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. We do not use push notification services that transmit data to external servers.
Data Storage and Security
All personal data (prayer records, saved locations, preferences) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData and UserDefaults frameworks. We do not operate external databases that store user data. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features including encryption.

Children's Privacy
Athanify does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation and stores all data locally on the device.
